The Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI), in partnership with the Paper Gold Medal Association, has launched the 2022 Paper Industry Gold Awards.
These new awards will celebrate the best of the UK’s Paper-based Industries across a range of categories designed to showcase the excellence within the industry. It is high time that our industry had a prestigious awards programme dedicated to the best across the whole industry, up and down supply chains.
The awards categories are:
• The Recycling Award
• The Net Zero Award
• The Sustainable Innovation Award
• The Skills Award
• The Community Engagement Award
• The Health and Safety Award
The awards will culminate in the Paper Gold Medal, which is a lifetime achievement award for service above and beyond the norm in the UK’s Paper-based Industries.
Andrew Large, CPI Director General, said: “CPI is delighted to launch the Paper Industry Gold Awards for the UK’s Paper-based Industries. These awards are an opportunity to recognise the best the industry and celebrate their achievements. The industry has a lot to be proud of and there are many remarkable individuals and business which do excellent work. I do hope that people will send in nominations, and I look forward to seeing a strong pool of entrants in the coming weeks.”
Entry to the Paper Industry Gold Awards is free, as is attendance at the awards event. The awards opened for entries on 11 November 2021. The deadline for submissions is Friday 11th February 2022. The venue and timing of the awards event are still being finalised. We will be booking a prestigious and easily accessible venue for Spring 2022 and will share the details of the event once they are confirmed.
