This guidance is aimed at the operation of fixed machinery and plant used in the recovered paper industry. Within the guidance is an example of an isolating and locking off procedure.

Consequences of clearing a blockage without isolating the machine
There have been several fatal accidents where operators have attempted to clear blockages. This short animation shows what happens when machinery is not properly isolated.
